bad after sales service

good morning i purchased a compression stockings at sparksport pharmacy in overport on 4th September 2018 @ about 15:00 hrs. i took the product back @ about 20:15 the same date as the product was defective. the manufacturer states clearly on the box if product is defective please return for replacement or full replacement i spoken to by 1 person then another & told wait for manager as he will be back at 20:30 he went for supper & the a 3rd person comes @20:40 and says the manager is gone to mosque but the phones him twice who answers phone in prayer thats strange but i kept quiet R270 for a defective product & then give the runaround story. I've been buying medicine & cashing prescription at this pharmacy for many years this is the 1st time i got a defective product & having a problem to return it. thatis pathetic to sell defective products & refuse to exchange it or refund it no problem they can keep the product & my money i really need the stockings so I'll go to clicks or dischem & purchase one what happened to consumer rights at this pharmacy. i know u can't return medicine. now i will insist that a staff member open the package before i buy it R.Harrikissoon
