Lies, sub standard service and no follow up

Quoted for a fibreglass shell refurbishment of our pool in July 2023. Had to pay early - in full (that's how Jedd works) - then had to beg him every few days to come and start the job. Eventually after about 3 weeks of begging Jedd came and put a pump in the pool to drain the water. Didn't come back for weeks despite more calls and whatsapps. Promised the pool would be finished the last Tuesday in August 2023. Then said that the supplier wouldn't release the summer products in winter etc. along with various other excuses. Eventually pitched up and started work but could only come on certain days as he doesn't have staff so uses a guy that he knows that works full time for a hotel so can only work for Jedd on his days off. The pool was eventually 'finished' at the end of August, resin wouldn't dry so had to come back and that took another month of calls and messages. Pool started chipping and we realised that there is no fibreglass in the shell at all. We called in suppliers, other pool builders and had the fact that there is NO fibreglass in the pool confirmed. Jedd in the meantime was supposedly in meetings with the supplier to found out what went wrong. Eventually told us in early March 2024 that the Factory in Pinetown were mixing a colour batch to match the pool. Absolute *******. Do not deal with Jedd Wade van Niekerk or Giant Sparkling Pools EVER. Unfortunately, I have known his family for 45 years and that means nothing.

Other victims have advised me that the family hide in the house and say he is not home, if they managed to talk to them and they won't sign for a letter of demand.
