Sparkleen Dry Cleaners, Edenglen disappointment!!

I feel that I have to share this with the consumer. I resided in Edenglen and use to take my dry cleaning to Sparkleen Dry Cleaners over the years I stayed there. Spent hundreds, if not thousands there. And referred my sister and friends there. My clothes that needed tailoring was also taken there as well as shoes for tips and heals. The one year paid round about R 800 just for tips and heals. I then relocated, called spoke to Lileen to please keep my winter coat, Daniel Hechter lined formal jacket as well as a dress I took for tailoring. I advised her that I relocated but will definitely come and fetch my clothes. She told me that they never get rid of anything, some stuff has been there for a year or so. At that stage all three items were there. Requested from her to please make a note on the slips that I will come and collect the items which she confirmed she had done. I must not worry, it will be there. I went there in December to collect my clothes, was given my coat and dress but was told my jacket is not there. I asked her to make sure, because it is a very valuble item and very expensive. She avoided eye contact and told me agitatedly the owner, (either a family member or business partner) does not like to keep things for to long. But when I called previously she communicate to me that they never get rid of anything to defray costs. My question is, the dress and jacket had the same dates and my winter coat was still there. She has my number on the slips. Why was I not given a cutesy call before they either decided to sell it, or keep it? Why do I then have to give my number and it is written on the slip. My suspicion is the jacket was selected for personal use. Working in that industry, they would have known that the Daniel Hector jacket was a valuable jacket. Very disgusted with Sparkleen Dry Cleaners.
