Im Disgusted and dusgruntled

I stood in the butchery section que until it was my turn to be served and when it finally was my turn, a gentleman named sizwe was supposed to assist me but he carried on as if I wasn't there while he went on speaking with a straying customer about the latest that's happening in their village. I then greeted him for the 2nd time to grab his attention, he then greeted me as well but skipped me and assisted the customer behind me... I waited patiently, after he was done assisting her he then ignored me once more and rushed to the 'back' because he had apparently been called. I've never ever experienced such appauling customer service, is it maybe a Mthatha thing to be rude to customers??? If this is how things are done here then intensive customer care training is needed
