Spare world sells factory reject tyres beware
Don't buy tyres at Spares World near MTN taxi rank as they sell factory reject tryes claiming that it's a special price. Yesterday I bought a 195R14 around 15:45 pm and they guys noticed that the Tyre was sliced along the treads possibily an indicator that the Tyre was rejected at the factory. Just after fitting the Tyre on the rim when they were filling in the air the guy noticed that the Tyre had a leak. Today around 2pm l returned the Tyre still with the sticker on, less than 24 hours. The greedy ************ management told me that l had cut the Tyre and they were not going to change it. They were not willing to contact their supplier to check if they had the Tyre under the rejects category or what. All they did was to shut me out of their counter parameter and continued with their business. No honor for the 7 day return policy or manufacturer warranty. Such greed is deplorable. Spare world is a shame. Surely cheap is expensive. With Spare world it's all about profits.
