Zero respect for clients

Bluff Superspar is the absolute worst Spar in KZN when it comes to service. Right from the door with their security having no respect for their clients with not even a greeting when you greet them to the tellers who 9 times out of 10 don't even say "Hello", just "packet?". The worst of it all is that I have raised these issues with store managers Dumisani, Lucky and Ishaan who assured me training will be done and disciplinary action will be taken. This may be the case but the behaviours are still rotten. You can teach the staff "GUEST" all you want but if there is no one to observe or enforce it, it's pointless. I have given the Bluff Superspar more than sufficient chances to improve their service (at least 7 times including the time I escalated to Training manager Clive) yet they seem to value their attitudes more than their clients. They kept reassuring me that I don't have to raise it to head office and my foolishness lead me to believe them. My tipping point was the security not even greeting me this morning when I greeted him and asked where I must leave my bag. He simply made a gesture with his head and pointed to the floor. I asked him why he can't greet me and if he doesn't see me as a human? After exchanging some words I got the manager, Lucky, involved to assist. He ended up apologising to me, and me to him, after first having attitude. He admitted he didn't greet me after I had politely greeted him. Strange enough, he was willing to greet other clients but not me, for a reason I will not disclose here. Avoid this Spar at all costs if you want to be valued as a human being, if you want to be treated like you are undervalued, then you will find this is the place to shop.

I will definitely take my business elsewhere after being a frequent shopper there.
