your coins are not good here

I'm a regular customer at Spar since I moved into the area.<br> <br> One time I nearly paid for beer because I nicked it unaware since it was placed behind me at the counter, this is at tops. On the 28, I went to the shop to buy something. Got to the counter and the teller told me they don't have change, the cash register caught my eye since there were plenty of church, I asked if they don't have change or don't want to let me buy and I was told that because I was buying a small priced item then they don't have change for me and I should buy at the garage. I asked to confirm this with the manager, they showed me some lady and she confirmed that they won't give me change, she referred me to Marnee the store manager. To my disappointment, the manager told me to buy something decent or they won't let me buy. He also said to me that they were saving change for people who are coming to buy more items.<br> <br> See what gets to me is that I have no choice but to buy at Spar since its the closest but the humiliation of trying to raise an issue with a manager and to be spoken down to by the so called manager.<br> <br>
