Why is Spar selling rotten foods to the consumer?

I went to the Spar at Boulders, close to the taxi rank wanting to buy myself some g****fruits. I normally buy them elsewhere. The ones at Spar looked like rejects so I couldn't buy them. Next to them, were a pile of packaged onions with a majority of them rotten in the packages. Why??? The store looked untidy, so I asked the guy in the fruit/veg department why they were selling rotten goods and he said we just have to choose and get ones that looked better. I told him that it was not acceptable, so he must call me the manager so that I can show him the untidy store and rotten fruits and veggies. The guy refused and said he is the manager, which was clearly not true.<br> <br> But why?? What kind of store sells rotten things to clients? Why is the store in such an untidy mess? Why is the staff not friendly?
