Whether in Plutekloof of Gugulethu service remains service

I'm usually happy with "my spar" in fact I'm a loyal customer to the brand. I've had very few unsatisfactory interactions with any of their shops. But this morning I woke up to realise I was out of diapers, so as usual I went to my local Spar(Crossroads) they were out of stock on what I wanted, so I drove to Gugulwthu Spar.

I browsed around found the right size and the perfect price. When i was paying I noticed the price was different, the cashier went to check on the shelves and brought back the price tag. She tried to justify the price by saying the 149.95 is for size 6 not all sizes.so I asked why the additional price was not displayed... She called the manager who then told me this is why they have scanners....it'd to double check.

I don't mind the information, hell this could have been human error .

I buy items purely based on the displayed price,not scan... My eyes did not receive me. Its the condescending tone in the delivery of the information. There was nothing acknowledging an error on their end. I took my baby and walked out. I bought the diapers nextdoor at a much higher price because I needed them. In all honesty had the information been delivered sincerely I would have still bought them at the Spar.

It's amazing how spar service in different areas differ.

This time I was disappointed. I know to Spar my view won't matter much but the least I ask is to be treated with some dignity and not some bargain seeking third class citizen just because this is a township.
