Whats R85 in the bigger scheme of things?

A friend bought me a 3l box of Robertson semi-sweet red wine.They opened it and drank a glass before bringing it to my house.I realized that the Fill Date was in November 2014 and I know how different this wine tastes from what we are accustomed to.I went back to Spar and requested wine from a later fill date (February 2015) because I had previously bought this from the Tops next door and it had tasted fine-what followed was unnecessarily embarrassing.<br> I was referred to a manager Costas. He said the wine hadn't \expired"(never my argument)"
