What the heck is in our food

I bought naartjies from the spar in glenwood and I just peeled one and it had like blue ink inside it , I proceeded to peel another two which didn’t have that blue ink but were pretty dry and had a lazy taste , but my main concern is what could the blue ink in the naartjie represent , I had been experiencing a sore throat over the past 3 days , I assumed it was flu like symptom but now I’m actually worried it might be related to these naartjies I don’t know , I wish there was a feature to add a picture here . Someone educate me please before my conspiracy theorist mind takes over . I’m disgusted . I have never seen a fruit yet alone a naartjie look this way on the inside ever .
