Very, Very Disappointed.

I am extremely disappointed in the BATA school shoe promotion that was run by Spar and Bata. Firstly, since the launch of the promotion our Belhar Spar was only supp**** by a limited amount of boys school shoes. We as customers were informed that additional stock will arrive as well as school shoes for girls. I have been back and forth checking on when the school shoes will arrive and now after almost two months I was just told that Bata will not be supplying more schools shoes, I am sitting with 3 vouchers and 3 kids, who are going to be disappointed on not getting their promised school shoes. These kids are needy kids and I was hoping to put a smile on those little faces. It would be understandable if we reaching the end date of the promotion and stock was running low?, but to start off with a poor supply of stock is very disappointing. When Spar and Bata embarked on this campaign, they should have known that there would be a tremendous amount of interest as this has been tough year on everyone. Who would not be interested in paying R 40 for a pair of school shoes????? In future when embarking on a campaign that affects kids, it should be planned and thought through properly to avoid disappointment.
