Unwanted Suprprise found in cake

<p>On the 16/06/2016 my mother in law went to Spar at 1 - 3 Andromeda Street, Shop 4, Starwood Mall, Starwood , Phoenix.</p> <p>She purchased a madeira cake which she then took home after cutting the cake and actually eating it she noticed there was something hard in her mouth.</p> <p>When she took it out she saw that it was a nail.... To my disgust I asked her to take the cake back to the store and demand to speak to the manager, she was told by staff that he was not there but that she should leave the cake with them which she refused to do, they tried to offer her 2 cakes for the 1 cake and she still refused.</p> <p>I then called the store on my mother in laws behalf and spoke to the Manager who asked that we take the cake in so it can be tested, which I agreed to, it is now almost a month later and I have never received any feedback neither from the Spar head office nor this branch.</p> <p>When my in laws went to the store to ask what was the update regarding the incident they were simply brushed off,This type of behaviour and attitude is pathetic the staff didn't even seem to care that there was a nail in the cake</p> <p>Is this the type of service one should expect from Spar? I am deeply disturbed and disgusted by this fact and I want some sort of action to be taken... against the staff and manager. It is just appalling to think what kind of hygiene is being practiced in that kitchen for us to find a nail in the cake. Absolutely disgusting, it makes me sick just thinking about this, also the lack of feedback from anyone regarding this leaves me less than impressed with Spar, I will surely NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN PATHETIC SERVICE AND ATTITUDE OF STAFF</p>
