Unhappy customer experience

<p>I went and purchased a 8kg of Mighty Bite dog food from the above shop</p> <p>That was on Sunday 19/2/2017</p> <p>When i returned home i emptied the contents into my dog food bucket</p> <p>i did notice the food appeared to be powdery but thought nothing of it.</p> <p>On Tuesday 21 i noticed maggets in the bucket that i had the dog food in</p> <p>I had since not retained my slip and had obviously thrown away the bag</p> <p>I returned to the store and spoke to the manager Angelo</p> <p>I showed him the contents and informed him that I purchesed the food when the store had a promotion on Sunday</p> <p>I was politely told that He can not be sure that I had purchased the bag there and that he would have no proof for his supplier</p> <p>I was further more told that there had been no other complaints</p> <p>I think he could have refunded me quite easily as he is well aware of the fact that I am a regular customer and I am pretty fami**** with most of the staff</p> <p>So yes you can never be sure</p> <p>I may well have purchased a bag somewhere, didnt have a receipt and also put maggets in the dog food to try get 1 or 2 days extra food out of the bag as that was all i had used</p> <p>not forgetting my time</p> <p>I think it would be pretty stupid to go to all the trouble to try catch him</p> <p>Further more i will now make use of another store even though it is less convienient for me</p> <p>I was a loyal customer since moving into the area 2 years ago</p> <p>i spent +- R4000 p/m there - which he has now lost for R84-99 (not even the most expensive dog food)</p> <p>I am in the transport industry and let me tell you there is such a thing as good will</p> <p>I must also say that at times the store prices are not the cheapest it it is convienient</p> <p>I will only see the store if I have no other choice</p> <p>Would be interested to know if this is the customer service that Spar condone and encourage</p> <p>I have no doubt that this will not be the case</p> <p>Wont hold it against Spar as a brand</p> <p>Individual store management</p>
