Uncaring and uninformed staff

I went to a Spar Pharmacy in White River today to collect my meds, I was met by a gentleman a worky the till at around 8h30 am, I explained to him what my enquiry was, he asked for my ID which was provided to him, he entered the information on the system and walked around in the office (supposedly looking for my meds) after a couple of minutes he came back and he said those pills have not arrived and I should come back perhaps on Monday maybe the meds would have been delivered by then. The issue that I have was the lack of empathy and customer service that this gentleman displayed, he did not take into consideration that it's lockdown and we don't have money to go up and down to town, he couldn't even confirm if those meds will be there so I might go back on Monday only to be turned back again, as an employee he should have been able to at least track or following up as to wherey medication was, but he behaved the same way you would expect at at government clinic. I thought by being moved from the clinic to Spar Pharmacy I would receive better service but to, my disappointment, I found the service even worse. He didn't even give me some sort of a note stating that I was there to collect and did not get my meds, next thing you know I will be told that I have defaulted, he didn't even ask fpry phone number to at least call and inform me when my medicine is there. He either was was not very bright or just plain callous and that is something I did not expect from a private medical institution. I hope that one of his superiors actually gets to read this message and train the young man on what it means to provide impeccable service because he definitely lacks in that department. I have no choice now, I have to borrow more money to travel to town again next week and just hope that I will get assistance. This is really pathetic service.
