Unattended trolley rolls and scratch brand new car

I went shopping at Spar Estcourt in my brand new car. When I came out me, the car guard / trolley attendant was pushing a big steel trolley away from my car. A stray trolley had rolled all the way down and given my car the first scratch/dent ever. Jayshree from Spar came out together with two other guys and took pictures of the damage and asked me to go do a quote. I took time out did the quote and sent it Jashree. Weeks went past and nobody gave me a call. When I finally called Jayshree, she then turn around and said they will not pay for the damage caused by the trolley that belongs to them. She said she was told by management they can't pay and flatly refused to transfer my call to the management. Why make me run around wasting my time doing quotations and never honour your promise. This raises a lot of questions about the standards, values, quality and other aspects of how the business conducted in that branch. Why leave your trollies flying around? This is gross negligence as there is a guy responsible for packing the trollies at their designated safety station. They REFUSED to pay for the damage. Will never shop at Spar Estcourt again!
