Twice Bitten... Never going there again

<p>On the 6th December 2016, I wrote:</p> <p>Expired Products On Shelf</p> <p>"First I have to say that I'm grateful for the 24hr Spar outlets. This morning I went into my local Super Spar (Berea, Tudhope Street) for some lunch-box snacks.</p> <p>I went to the shelf and selected my choice of beverage (Steri Stumpie). When I was at the till, I remembered that I did not check the expiry/Best Before date on the packaging.</p> <p>When I checked, I was horrified to find that the date shown was 18/10/16. I took it to one of the managers (Jonathan) and alerted him on the fault and I requested that they be removed from the shelves. I'm not sure if that was done, as I didn't have the time to follow through and check."</p> <p>This morning I found myself at the same Spar, looking for the same product for my son. And to my suprise, the product on the shelf had also reached its sell by date. I took the product to the same manager, who I found out is actually the Regional Manager (Jonathan). This time around, I didn't wait around for a response, I just left. I'm asking myself if I can trust this Spar, especially with products like meat, which I can't prove the expiry date on.<br /> <br /> </p>
