Turning my frown upsidedown

Last week when doing weekly grocery shopping at our local Spar, my little boy (aged 11) saw that in the bakery section there were breads that were shaped as Crocodiles. We asked if we could purchase one but the lady in the bakery section told us they were only for display. She however said that if we came back the next day, she would see if she could make a plan. We went back the next day, with my little boy eagerly hoping to get a crocodile bread. The lady at the bakery indicated that she forgot and that I should come the next day. I was not amused and my little boy was very disappointed but I decided to leave it at that. I had some other items to buy and proceeded with this to the check-out. As I stood there, the actual baker (a very friendly lady - I think Nomvulo was her name but I could be wrong) came to me and asked me for my phone number. I gave her my business card. The next day I received a phone call from this lady, the baker, to tell me that she had baked a crocodile for my son and I could fetch it from the Spar. I was unable to go, but sent my Mom and my son to collect it! My son was so chuffed! Thank you for turning my frown upside down, and making my son's day!
