Treat Customers Like *********!

<p>I usually go by the Spar Tops every weekend to buy a bottle of wine with my bag in my possesion (containing all my valuables, phone, wallet, ipod etc.)</p> <p> </p> <p>Today however I was stopped by security at the door and was told to leave my bag on the floor.</p> <p> </p> <p>a.) That's not going to happen, I'm not going to negelect my valuables like that.</p> <p> </p> <p>b.) I was made to feel like a crimminal which really hurt me. I am a person of colour and it felt very much like racial profiling. I'm not saying that was the case NECESSARILY (it might have been), but I was hurt.</p> <p> </p> <p>c.) As previously stated I frequent this store with my bag in my posseion and have had no problems in the past.</p> <p> </p> <p>I write all this to say that I will no longer be purchasing from Spar. The great thing about South Africa is that we have alternatives, and I'll be sure to make use of these in future...</p>
