Thomas Knives promotion

Spar has run a promotion for Thomas knives that expired on the 30 November 2014. You collect a sticker for every R 50.00 spent at Spar. I have been to Spar in September 2014 and was told there's no stock, and as soon as stock arrives they will issue me with the knives that I qualify for. I have been there in October, November, December and January 2015 and there is still no stock. The manager of the store signed and acknowledged my sticker collection card at the end of September, and told me as soon as stock arrives I can redeem my stickers for the value of the knives. On the 3rd of February 2015 I went to inquire about stock I was told by the manager that there was no stock and they would not be getting anymore stock as the promotion was closed. I find this extremely disappointing that Spar can run a promotion and run out of stock before the expiry date of the promotion. Also these knives are freely available at other stores and see no reason why Spar cannot get stock.
