The second and last straw

I've had an issue with this Spar before about being asked to take my helmet off for 2-3 minutes of being in the store on a daily basis (These people know me. I'm friendly with most of the staff and I've had no bad experiences to date from them personally)

The security guard today (After removing my helmet and walking inside) called me back and insisted that I took my closed backpack and my leather laptop bag, holding my works R30 000 macbook. And left it on the floor right by the entrance to the SPAR.

I had tried to explain to him that I had an issue with security guards at this premisis before and that there was no reason to ask me to do such a thing, particularly if my helmet is off.

I responded to him, insisiting that I would not take my bag off, since there are far easier ways of *****ing things than trying to stuff them into leather macbook bags or trying to push it into the bag already strapped to my back.

His response was that I would be allowed to enter the premisis with my bags, provided that I agree to him searching through my bags.

I started going to this shop again every morning after claiming that I would no longer do so since the last time. So that was a mistake on my part. I thought that since they had changed the security companies, I would be safe to enter the shop, not being persecuted by a person specifically.

(I will gladly accept the manager phoning me up again to explain that his shop is frequently ******. I would love to have him explain to me how I'm going to ***** anything valuable without being noticed by shoving things into the bag that's already on my back. But moreso, I would love him to tell me just how tolerable a situation like this is to him. But I'm done.)

This security guard, or perhaps the warped orders he has received has bismerched the reputation of the shop. And I'll continue to do so myself. If security guards aren't telling every person to leave every bag and handbag at the front of the shop, I will refuse to drop my bags like some schoolchild simply because the security guard -assumes- that I'm a ***** because I drive a s******?

Absolutely disgusting. I'll be making sure that everyone I know is aware of the fact that SPAR's allow their customers to be treated like dirt.
