*********** Supervisor @Sapr using the words "Houding" meaning Attitude!!!

So I went to Spar only to get Basmati rice.. Got to the shelf.. Brand name Spekko is the only thing that stood out for me as the price visible on the shelf was R44.99.. also with the first word Spekko(brand name)

No where on that shelf stated another amount for spekko basmati rice in order for me to read further and make a choice..

Okay so now I head to the till point and the cashier very sweet lady rings up my rice and immediately the proce caught my eye and I said"R72.99? Is it not R44.99..

She politely told me that she will go check for me..

I said yes please, I might be mistaken but I am almost sure that that was the only price I saw under the packet..

She came back and went to the supervisor on duty telling him about what I had said..

He mentioned to her what it clearly states on the packet and on the sticker from the shelf not baring in mind that there is no other price available on the shelf for what I had bought..

Furthermore he comes out.. asking for my name telling me the exact same thing he had told her to tell me.. I then asked him.. is the other proce available on the shelf? He said no? They are still working on it..

Not apologizing humbly taking responsibility as a supervisor or anyone would do in this regard..

Just speaking over me abruptly and assertive almost like I am illiterate or something..

I ddkt appreciate how he spoke to me so I said to him.. it's oaky with a wink and a thumbs up wanting to leave with my rice..

This very same man.. stops me, asking me where am I going and takes my slip asking me howuch I paid.. he made me feel like I was *****ing the rice I had just bought..

I asked him and now.. he say" I want to take you to my superior" I asked why? He says this" no because you then have a "houding" now" I was astonished by this supervisor's choice of words to be very honest.. I was so gobsmacked that I literally then began to get angry and walked away and said to him see you on helo peter!!

All he had to do was the following..

Mam I do apologize.. , eventhough it clearly states on the packet and the rack sticker what the prices are for, I know we are all human and we all make mistakes and do not read the full statements.. however this is the price and the only thing I can do is either refund you or I can get u the regular rice of which the rack sticker stated? "

I would've been much happier with this kind of responds.. for the 17 years I have shopped at Spar I have never dealt with such ***********, unapologetic and impolite supervisors.. I have always had the best of service... infact I have never had issues at Spar... Nor been spoke to as this man has..

Who speaks like that? Who uses words as " Houdings" to their customers
