Superspar Rbert Broom/Standard Bank client debit card cash withdrawal decline

Warning to Standard Bank account holders who use Retailers to withdraw cash. Superspar Robert Broom (Krugersdorp) has decided not to allow/assist customers who request debit-card cash withdrawals at the tills - although they did so in the past. The fact that my wife purchased several items on her credit card was ignored and considered irrelevant. According to the lady manager, who showed very little interest in my wife as the customer, the franchise owner made this call due to the costs involved. Besides the obvious oversight that my wife has already spent money on purchases, I wonder what Standard Bank would think of this breach in their agreement with Superspar to offer this service to SB clients (I will take this up with SB). Indeed a myopic perspective.
