On the 17/5/2015 my husband and I visited the new revamped Spar in Melville and were very impressed with the new look. We normally frequent the Spar in Northcliff but decided to check out the new store in Melville. We decided to try out the cakes and purchased a cream doughnut and a cream turnover. Much to our disgust the turnover was completely inedible, rock hard and the cream was sour, the doughnut was not freshly baked as well. I cannot believe that the store looks so good but its obvious that its standards have gone down and we will not be going back for sure!
