Spoiled milk

I bought a 2 litres full cream milk (Spar brand) with an expiry date of 12/01/2016 on Monday 14 December used it twice and left it in the fridge as Wednesday was a holiday come back to work today the milk is spoiled. I cannot return as I no longer have the slip, i'm very disappointed it feels like false advertising
