Spoiled food

I went to Super Spar Gelvandale to buy some odds, I saw the Spar hot doggers were on special for R44.99 for 1kg. Great bargain right,but as I took it from the refrigerator I saw white looking like liquid. I immediately went to the help desk and spoke to someone attending there. I ask the individual would you honestly sell this to the community and he then said it wasn't the intention, I then asked how you mean. It clearly says it BB 25/04/2022 which is tomorrow so surely it must be your intention to get rid of it before then because otherwise you wouldn't have a full stock refrigerator of hot doggers on special. I asked him where are the people checking up on expiry dates. He's only response was it wasn't the intention. 2 years ago I bought spar branded wors there as well and it was off. I gave them another shot after that incident but obviously they never learn. That will be my last time purchasing anything there.
