Special not special

There is currently a promotion displayed in store for Dr. Oetker pizzas clearly stating 5 x 424g for R200 as part of the advertised special. However, when attempting to purchase the items according to the promotion, the store manager refused to honour it. We were told the promotion only applies to the smaller size pizzas — despite the signage clearly indicating 424g, which matches the product we selected.

This was disappointing and felt unfair, as customers should be able to rely on the signage displayed in store. When a promotion is advertised, the store has a responsibility to ensure that staff and management uphold it.
