Spar Yoghurt/Gelatin/Glenda Turpin

When I asked Spar why their brand of double-cream yoghurt contains beef gelatin (unlike any other brands) and does not attempt to alert unsuspecting customers that their yoghurt is unsuitable for vegetarians and Hindus I got this reply from Glenda Turpin:

The *** was killed in a way deemed halal. We do not endorse any other logos on our products only known allergen’s"

Is she stupid or is she trying my patience on purpose?
