SPAR Struben's Valley

I am a Pensioner and have had a Loyalty Card marked "Pensioner" with this store for a long time. It seems to be under new management. Recently, they informed me in a very rude manner that my card is NOT valid for loyalty points, in fact, the words were: "You can't expect to get a Pensioner's discount AS WELL AS as loyalty points.

Both of the other SPAR stores in the area offer BOTH Pensioner's discount AS WELL AS loyalty points using a single loyalty card - i.e. Loyalty Card marked Pensioner.

I feel very strongly that Pensioner's are being discriminated against at this SPAR and I urge all Pensioner's in the area to boycott this store and rather shop at either Radiokop SPAR or the SUPERSPAR at Retail Crossing.

Just a final word - the one thing YOU (all at Struben's Valley SPAR) will not be able to avoid is getting old. Good Luck to you.
