Spar stores do not honour their advertised special prices.

Spar advertises specials, but often store prices are not as advertised. For example, Country Value bananas were advertised at R15.99 per Kg, but in the Polly Shortt's Spar in PMB, on 22 March, they only had 650g packets of Country Value Bananas @ R15.99 each. Their loose bananas were marked R19.99 per Kg. At Hayfields spar yesterday (21 March) their bananas were marled R2.39 per 100g. These specials were supposed to extend from 9 March up to and including 22 March 2026.
