Spar sells chi ken that has gone bad

We have recently had two encounters at the Umkomaas Spar in which we were sold chicken that was gone bad. The first time we did not lay a complaint, hoping it was a mistake that would not happen again. However it did happen again and unfortunately we realised the chicken was gone bad a bit too late as the store was already closed. We approached the store the next day to express our dissatisfaction, we were then advised that we must bring the chicken to the store. The next day we took the chicken back to the store and we were advised that the manager will get in contact with us, however its now been 5 days and we still have not had any feedback from them. This was a complete inconvenience for us as we had to go back and forth to the store just to lay a complaint, not to mention the cost we have incurred in paying for goods we cannot use. Furthermore we then had to go out and buy food for supper, which in turn added further costs we did not account for.
