Spar school shoes bungle

Bad service from Spar Mount Pleasant. Qualified for 2 x pairs of school shoes promotion. On the day there was only size 12 and not size 1, so took the size 12 and they took down my details to phone me when the size 1 would be available. Long story short they did not call me and I returned to the shop only to find that tgey don't have any stock and that they did phone all the others that was on the list to collect. Manager advised me to go to other Spars and find out. Why must I as a customer drive around or phone around to find out if there are any shoes available? One would think that they would at least phone around. I asked for number of Distribution centre, called on 9 December and was transferred to buyer whose phone was on voicemail and left a message. Morning of 10 December phoned again because there was no response, spoke to Trevor Blunden who bluntly tell me to drive around to other Spars and find out from them if they have shoes. This shoes was initiative to donate to a school in the Northern areas of Port Elizabeth assisting under privileged kids with pair of shoes.
