Spar R55 Centurion- Fred Reynolds ( Store manager )

I bought a Duracell iPhone charger at Spar R55 in Centurion on the 27th of June 2021 for my wife's phone and when I got home and she plugged the charger in. It didn't work. I went back to return in an spoke to the store manager Fred Reynolds he said his name was. He then told me that I cant return it even though its not fit for the purpose for which it was bought. He then said they tested it and it works. I then asked him if he could test it on my phone to confirm that its not working on my phone and he then told me that all his plugs are in use at that moment and since they tested it on whatever device they tested it on. I couldn't return it. He then said that the item was also opened. And I said to him that it is opened because that was the only way to test it it works or not. He still refused although I had my slip and everything I needed in order to return the item for a refund. The is a total disregard or consumer protection act at that Spar....disgusting service.
