Spar Pharmacy Newlands, PTA - Danger to your Life!

Every month I go to the Spar Pharmacy in Newlands Pretoria to get my medication for high blood pressure. I usually phone them to order the medication so that when I pick up it is ready for collection. I phoned on Wednesday to collect on Friday - knowing I still have pills for Saturday. Jacques told me that the pharmacy will be closed until Mon - due to unknown circumstances. I was surprised. Firstly, the pharmacy should have informed their clients who are dependend on chronic medication that the pharmacy will be closed. They should have given the chronic clients an opportunity to purchase their medication prior to the closing. I was told that the Pharmacy would reopen on Monday and that I could collect my Medication. Monday I phoned to confirm if my medication is ready for collection, only to find out that no one is there!!!! So, we are not talking about a packet of chips here - if I don't take my pills, my blood pressure goes sky-high and I could die of a stroke! I was out of pills since Sunday - and really need to get my pills on Monday. It was the last time you played with my life you useless owner of a pharmacy - and I will make this public - unacceptable such negligence!!!
