Spar Karenpark: Wipe trolleys with own hands, said Superviser

It has been for some times since last year November until today (7th) when I decided to ask the superviser on duty around 14h00 as to why is their shop no longer wiping the trolleys during this extremely dangerous time of the 2nd wave of covid19. The Sup told me he has recipe ed many camplaints that they had to stop wiping the trolleys because the material/cloth they use might be carrying the virus. I reminded him that for some times there used to be wet wipes, and they later used the hard towel/tissue paper which was used once per trolley and disposed. The Superviser then boldly told me he has done research and he was advised that even the wet wipes cannot be used because they are dangerous. I asked why are shops like Clicks and Pick n pay using the wet wipes for cleaning the trolley, the response was that they stopped because It is not safe. So I then asked him if the were expecting us to wipe trolleys with our hands, he said that's the only safest method. I felt so disrespected because he was even raising his voice on me, saying I must one day come work at the entrance and sanitize people so I can feel how difficult it is. We need more information than misinformation dusting this time of the second wave, this is no time for information asymmetry,esp by someone who is supposed to give direction.
