Spar challenge - very challenging

Today was the spar challenge in CT. For me personally it was my 4th but I took some family members with me today and I was so disappointed. I know that the race is for a good cause but that doesn’t mean that it should be handled so badly. Firstly we had to wait forever before we could even start as there was an accident but we could only be told this when we finally got to the start as there was no way they could inform us while we were just waiting. Then when we finally made it to the end of the race as we had young children with us. We were horrified to be in what could only be called a stampede of people chasing a truck. How does Spar run out of the promised goodie bags and not by a few but by what seemed like thousands. My family and I did not feel safe at all. And we felt let down by not getting what was promised. I hope Spar actually does something about this. I feel the lack of management actually saying or doing anything about the problem was actually the worst. When we finally managed to push through the crowd and leave all I could think was what a disappointing end to what should have been a family moment for our kids to remember forever. So disappointed. I cannot believe what happened
