SPAR 2nd avenue Alberton -

During the last week I bought frozen pizza at SPAR, as I opened the box the entire Pizza was covered with mold. On another day (21 May) I bought a tub of chocolate. When I got home I saw that best before date on the product was for March. I went to SPAR 2nd avenue in Alberton to return these goods. The lady at customer care desk told me it is not her problem but she will have the mold covered pizza exchanged for another box. I requested my money back for the chocolate which I paid R39.99 for. The lady gave me R26 in return. I asked her why am I getting less money in return and she said the chocolates are not on special and that is the current price so I get the current price of the Item. I told her that I did take photos and will complain and then only she was willing to correct the amount. I had to wait more than 30 minutes of the money. In that time she did not send anybody to check if the rest of the items for that specific chocolate is also past the best before date. I requested to see the manager. After waiting 20 minutes she said that the manager said he is not here. I told her that all the product on the shelve of that specific chocolate is out of date. Where she rudely told me that it is not her job or her problem to fix it or have someone removed it. I had to ask an employee myself to remove the products. 10 minutes later when I wanted to leave the store the manager was standing at the customer care desk. So clearly he was there and not willing to assist me. On numerous times at that specific SPAR I had to tell employees to remove items that are past the best before date. Not once did the employee apologize for the inconvenience. She was rude the entire time.
