So then it means im Crazy?!!

<p>Monday evening went to our local Spar store (Thabong Mall, Sebokeng) to go buy my kid some nappies. i notice that there is a special for the jumbo box Pampers nappies, priced R349.99. Chuffed, i grab a box. when i get to the till point to pay, i see that theyre priced R419.00. I ask the cashier why it is that much when there is a special, to which she answered that the special is over and theyre back to theyre original price. I ask why the special poster is still hanging up next to the nappies, to which she called her manager to go "check" the special poster. i wait for the manager to return to clarify the issue, she then comes back to tell me that there is no such poster with such a special price and she asks me to accompany her to go see. i follow her and to my surprise, there is no longer that specials poster. i ask her when it was removed, because it was there 5mins earlier, she acted baffled, saying that the special was long over. i said to her, it then means i am crazy because my husband and i, and fellow shoppers saw the specials poster there just 5 mins prior to her "coming to check", to which she just simply walked away. i am disgusted at that, that they couldnt apologise for leaving the poster there when the special was over, that they forgo to remove it. it really was as simple as that, and not being sneaky about the situation. i then left the nappies to go buy them at Pick n Pay, where we are not treated like crazy people. I am still appalled at that kind of customer treatment for such a large chain supermarket store. Please fix that.</p> <p> </p>
