selling rotten chicken intentionally

Spar is convenient for me as it closes late unlike most supermarkets how ever I am shocked at the level of quality we are being fed,.I bought 2 packets of 5 KG " SPAR branded"Chicken pieces for my parents as I don live with them only to be called by them to say they cant even eat what they ****ed because the meat is rotten and its smelling all over the kitchen.I had to drive back home on Wednesday to take the bags and return to spar mind you I am using my own petrol for the unwanted trip to spar,when i get the no remorse what soever was shown or even an apologie, got a refund and bought red meat rather as i couldn't trust their chicken and it was packed full in their fridges .I understood and accepted that it may have been an error on their side and they will correct it .2 months later I go back to the shop and buy a packet of 5 KG " rainbow brand" chicken pieces as i couldn't trust the "SPAR BRAND" anymore only to find out that my parents tried to eat as they had no other meat in the fridge but couldn't because the meat was off.I was deeply worried about this as my parents health as their in their 60s and 70s .I had to drive back to the same spar to return them with the cooked 4 pieces of the chicken.This is very disappointing of the brand SPAR ,I refused to believe anything bad said about spar but this really did the job and whats worse is that the mananger seems unbotherd about the inconvenience this causes as I plan to go to spar,I make time and use my petrol to drive there only to have to return back at my cost. This is the SPAR in Benoni.
