S*** serive, s*** management s*** prices

Today I shopped at Spar in West Park as I usually do because I live in the area. I had wanted to purchase paper plates, it was standing on the top of a R16.99 price tag. However when I got to the till it was R76.99. When I raised this with the supervisor and with the manager I was accused of moving the whole stack of plates to the cheaper price tag in order to pay a cheaper price. As a consumer it is my legal right to pay the price I see. Further to that the manager told me to read the price tag and that was that, and then proceeded to get off his chair and make a hand gesture for me to get out of his way. Above all this, they are so overpriced on all of their items, the few items they have that is on special is hardly a special because we make up for the reduced price with other items. Still I support them as our local grocer.

I am very unhappy with this service. Spar being such a big group should have better customer service than this. I want to lay a formal complaint and I want an apology in writing as I was treated very badly as a customer.

I do hope this matter is taken up and I am requesting feedback on it.
