Rude Store Manager and Expired Goods

I would like to report the Spar Manager(Peter) I went to Spar this afternoon to purchase a green salad. Before I went in the store I stopped by a fish and chips place, and I bought chips. I had an invoice for those chips. So when I went into the store I was carrying them, and this Manager just pointed by door where I was coming into the store. Not even saying a word to me. Which I found it rude because he can talk. Security came and told me to leave my chips by door.

I told the security that I can’t leave them by the door since they don’t even have a proper parcel counter, and my container was already opened, and my food was exposed. The Manager was already gone, and wasn’t interested on what I was saying so I went in with my food since I had an invoice for it that I had purchased it somewhere else. I was not even eating the food when I went into the store.

I took a green salad, and went to the cashiers, and paid. Manager came storming from the back, towards me, and made a very big scene, and snatched my green salad which I had already paid for, and shouted at me, And humiliated me in front of a lot of people. He went to the cashiers, and refunded me my money back. I would also like to point out as a loyal customer of that place. I’ve gone in that shop numerous times, and found expired goods and goods that have best before date that has pass. I have always been kind enough to inform the floor staff. I’ve never been rude or malicious. As from now on I will be reporting such stuff to head office, as I can see that store is not under good management.

I would like to report this bad treatment, and I would like to know if this is the correct way of treating customers. I go to that store almost everyday to buy my lunch, and I am a loyal customer of Spar, and I don’t believe I deserve such bad humiliating treatment.
