Rude security guard imposing rules arbitrarily.

Tuesday, 17 November 2015

Each morning of my work day, I'll stop by spar on my way to get myself something to eat for breakfast.

This has become so routine to me in the last 8-9 months of doing it since getting my bike, that the ladies who serve me pies know exactly what pie I want and get it ready for me so that I can rush out as soon as possible.

In the last month, this is the second occurrence that the bored security guard 'guarding' the front entrance of the store has demanded in a very rude manner that I should take my helmet off.

While I agree, that even if I spend only 5 minutes rushing in and out of your store, I should take my helmet off, and I agree with what he says, I will then also demand that everyone else who isn't adhering to the rules should do the same. I noticed just during the next couple of minutes of talking to the guard that there were many others disobeying the rules.

Irrelevant to that, I have never had a problem before and I believe that I was highly wronged in this situation.

I usually spend R80 or so each day on goods at spar.

R80 x My work days each month (20)

= R1600

x 12 months

= R19 200

This is how much you lost out in, spar.
