Rejection of Legitimate Currency at Spar Jubilee Mall

Dear Spar Jubilee Mall Management,

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your store yesterday. I visited Spar Jubilee Mall to do some grocery shopping and attempted to pay with cash that I had withdrawn from a Capitec ATM.

To my surprise, the cashier rejected the money, citing that it had a small, unnoticeable piece of sellotape on it. I was taken aback by this decision, as the tape did not obscure any of the security features or serial numbers on the notes.

As a loyal customer who regularly shops at Spar Jubilee Mall, I was disappointed by the inflexibility and lack of understanding shown by the cashier. I understand that stores have a responsibility to verify the authenticity of currency, but in this case, the notes were legitimate and should have been accepted.

I request that you review your store's policies and procedures for handling currency and provide additional training to your staff to ensure that customers are treated fairly and with respect.
