I went into Spar Brackengate and went to the tills to pay, there were about 4 people in the queue. When it was my turn to pay, the cashier put up a till closed sign. She insisted that I join another queue. I asked for the manager, the manager didnt even bother coming from his office, which is just above the till operators. He shouted from his office to find out what was the problem. I explained that I had queued already and there was no way I was joining a new queue. He told me that there was nothing he could do. I enquired whether this was the service we expected from spar. He told me to leave and go where I could get better service than their store. Being a disguntled customer I decided to leave, then he started asking me why I was being funny, I told him I was leaving as he suggested, he continued swearing in afrikaans and all this in full view of everyone, both customers and cashiers.
