R200 bottle of wine down the drain

I bought a bottle of Meerlust Chardonnay 2013 for my partner and I at the Spar Tops in Hobart. We opened it later that night and it was so acidic and vinegar-like, we had a glass hoping it was just us just over exaggerating. After 30 minutes we both felt so sick we couldn't stomach another glass, so we threw it away. I would never expect a bottle of wine to be that off, especially one that we drink very often (every weekend) and at that price. So disappointing:(
