I was rudely told to join the retail queue to purchase cigarettes without an apology or explanation. This did not make me feel valued as a customer as I have always remained loyal to spar St George's.At every supermarket I have visited I have never heard of such a thing. Before the store was renovated I never had this problem. While I understand it is the franchisee's prerogative to implement such policies, this is nonsensical and inconvenient.i guess that since the store is under new management, my patronage is no longer required. If I don't get a satisfactory explanation I am taking my money to pick n pay. Why have a cigarette counter if we have to join a queue with people pushing trolleys in order for us to access it. I am deeply offended by this.
