Queenswood Superspar beware of till price and shelf price difference

Queenswood Superspar say on their till slip “ Your friendly caring Superspar is good for you. “. Nothing can be further from the truth. Yesterday morning I purchased a box of Beacon mallow eggs from this store based on the large displayed price of R 64.99. When I returned home I noticed that the till slip number 6572 reflected a price of R83.99. When I called the store I was passed around to five different people who concluded that the price had increased that very day. I subsequently requested to speak to the manager. He was not available. I left my number and a request for him to return my call. This never happened. I then did four follow up calls to the store to try to talk to the manager, his name is Matthew. All to no avail. I spent more time on calls than what justifies the price dispute. I have abandoned talking to the store because they obviously do not care. They were quick to change the price at the till but did not use the same diligence in removing the large special advertised price in store by 10.30 in the morning when I was shopping there. Shame on them. Disappointing to say the least.
