Protea Spar Queenstown accusing me of *****ing

Good day. I'd like you to get in contact with me regarding an incident at Protea Spar in Queenstown. I went to the shop early on Monday morning 14 February to buy promotional items for my place of work. I then return later (as a regular customer) to buy myself lunch from the deli. I then was confronted by the store manager. According to him a “ pakistani” told him he gave ME R7000 earlier that day in the parking lot to buy Score energy drinks and then disappeared into the receiving area. He also told me that they had footage of me taking the money from the "Pakistani". The manager never asked my side of the story and immediately decided that I could have been the only person taking the money. He also kept on saying that the is just giving me a "heads up" because the person went to the police but they/Spar does not want to get involved with the incident. I thought it was a joke & did not take him seriously. I didn’t know what was going on but felt very embarrassed in front of the other customers around the store. I asked to see the footage, but all they showed me was a still shot of me entering the shop earlier that day. I left the shop feeling like a ********; I was there dressed in my company’s uniform and felt afraid now as I don’t know whether I’m being framed or followed by other ********* now. I went back to the store today to seek an explanation & I demanded to see the manger. Some of the staff there even recognize me as a regular. I then spoke to another Manger who knew about the incident but didn't know all the facts/details. I wanted to discuss the matter and clear my name and the fact that I was wrongfully accused but she told me the owner/manager is not there and will only be back on Friday. I asked to see the so called video footage but was told by an acting manger that it’s only available to police officers or mangers. I am still very upset about this incident, I am a law abiding citizen & do not deserve to be treated this way. I will NEVER set foot in a Spar again & am going to make sure as many people as possible know how confrontational and also unreasonable managers at the store can be.
