Prejudice Treatment at KwikSpar Wapadrand

<p>Today on 01/06/17, at about 1945 i went over to the Kwik Spar close to my house to look for clutch pencil leads as i was studying and ran out.</p> <p> </p> <p>I proceeded to enter the spar and look for the stationery section when i found it i could not find what i was looking for, so i then proceeded to exit the shop. As i was exiting a man who later on stated to be the owner of that Spar stopped me and insisted i get searched. The first question i asked him was why he said because i did not buy anything i informed him i could not find what i was looking for thus i did not buy anything. He then went on to say are you going to let us search you or not. I then comp**** and he then went on to inform another black attendee to search me. At this stage this felt very prejudiced and very embarrassing experience for me as i watched other white shoppers who were currently exiting as well go unsearched and this was the place i did my shopping at times so this was all very emotionally painful.</p> <p>After they were done and found nothing i proceeded to leave shaking my head in shame of the shop and myself. At this stage the owner then shouts and says dont you shake your head at me! Now even after this embarrassing experience of which they found nothing on me he further insults me and no apology was made. This is not ok and should never be ok, i would like some sort of formal action to be taken and the owner be held accountable for his actions towards a customer.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am not sure what to do from here but i strongly feel something needs to be done.</p>
