Portia has a horrible attitude!

I was at Hopdens Spar in Manaba today

First of all, I would like to say I enjoy your Hot Foods. They are delicious.

I went there to get some Biryani and I joined the queue behind a gentleman who was being served by Portia. They were laughing, having a good chat when I arrived and he made his pick. Another gentleman joined the queue as well - When Portia was done with the genlteman I found her serving, I proceeded to greet her twice - BOTH TIMES she ignored me and went to the gentleman who arrived after me. I then told her I had arrived first, she asked the gentleman to second that and he really wasn't problematic about it and I was shocked because she saw me there before the second gentleman arrived - We locked eyes!! I was the only other person in the queue before the third customer came When I tell her this, she gets an attitude with me talking about how she was serving a customer and I can't tell her what she did or didn't see.

I can understand this. Perhaps she really didn't see me and from how people hover around I may have stood on the wrong side of the queue but we then need CLEAR signage. I joined the queue from where the arrow was pointing and within the baracades, If I am on the wrong end, Its not me whose supposed to suck that information out of my thumb - It's your staffs responsibilty to tell me that, for their sake as well as mine.

From the response I got from her, she expected an apology from me and I was not going to apologise! I then make my pick and I asked if I can get a samoosa as well - which was on another section where the pies are - she says I have to go and join that queue, she cant help me.

I then went to go stand on that section - alone, for a good 10 mins before anyone even batted an eye! I think this is a ridiculous process! Why must I join multiple queues? I think you need to revisit this practise!

Otherwise, I was helped by other staff and the cashiers were friendly. I think you need to be mindful of Staff like Portia. I'm there to pay money, I do not expect to be treated like I am being done a favour.
